Get the most out of paid per click campaigns on Google

Effective Pay Per Click Ad Tactics - How to make money from Google Ads

So, how do you get the most amount of money from those paid per click Google campaigns? There is not right answer. Obviously it varies by blog. Here are a few suggestions to keep in mind.

You don't have to be #1. Seriously... You can still make money if you add is the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th one down. Ads that are a few down from the top, get about the same number of visitors for a lot less per each click.

Run reports often and analyze what you are paying for. If it's not working, try something else. Try a different combination of keywords. Eliminate certain words, or try some new ones. Remember, you can pick keywords to exclude as well. Try using phrases rather than a single keyword. You will get more valid, interested visitors.

Keep an eye on the ad timing. What time of day are your ads running? If you have an ad for restaurant coupons, you'll want the ad to run around meal time when people are searching for restaurant coupons. During the middle of the night, the ad might not be useful.

Play around and try out different ads. Have two ads running simultaneously and tweak the second one a little. Note the differences and see which does better.

Using Affiliates and Campaigns to Make Money on Your Blog

Using Affiliates and Campaigns to Make Money on Your Blog

An affiliate network works as a middle man between affiliates (publishers, bloggers, writers, etc) and merchant affiliate programs (the stores). Merchants are able to promote their goods/services with lowered advertising costs while affiliates earn revenue and commissions from the sales. Everyone wins!

Campaigns are very similar but the items being promoted are usually trials and samples. These campaigns may be free to the consumer or require a purchase in order to take part in the offer.

There are lots of tips and tricks out there to help you make the most money from your affiliate programs. Each blog is different and you'll have to also just play around with the links and posts and see what works best for your blog.

There are many affiliates out there. A while ago a blog survey was created and these are the favorite affiliate sites among the bloggers that participated in the survey.
